another talk about the Air Force

I made the best decision for myself when I joined the Air Force, and I learned a lot along the way. in the beginning i was scared to leave because I was so focused on what everyone around me was saying. All my friends where telling me that I would hate it and that they just couldn't see me being in the military, along with some of my church leaders telling me that I was going to get raped, and others telling me that they cant stand the military. the first thing I learned is that they had no idea what they where talking about and I know me more than anyone,

I Loved basic training, yes it was the most stressful, scary experience i’v been through but that is because nothing great in your life comes easily. I have done so much in the past 8 months its insane. And I love it, i love being busy, and having a thousand things that need to get done, and I love helping people. I was dying when I was home, for 2 weeks, just laying around with no work to do.

Lessons learned:
  • do your own thing, learn from others but don't be afraid to follow a different less traveled path
  • The best experiences are when you get outside your comfort zone
  • honesty is the best policy
  • shoot for the stars, don't be afraid to make outrages goals for yourself, your get pretty far no matter what
  • everything happens for a reason, even if it sucks!

jeez, I talk about the Air Force too much! not air force related my friend wants to run a half marathon with her next year, we will see how that turns out... :) ill keep yall updated

I get my own room, with a full personal bathroom (my very OWN bath tub!) yeah, bubble baths!! and a full kitchen and living-room that is furnished with A large screen Tv, and dvd players! what else would a girl need.

I'v been at my base for less then 2 weeks and I have met so many people. I'v made some good friends. one draw back to a small base is that you eventually know everyone, and it's a big gossip base... so i'v heard, from many people. there goes my plan of having a fake boyfriend... I would be found out in a  minute. I must find another tactic to avoid the creepers. I'm thinking honest is the best policy, even if I Have to break a few hundred hearts. The struggles of being a single, hottie, *insert sarcasm

Life lesson: honesty is really the best policy, i'v been working on it and its so much nicer than making up silly excuses. if I don't feel like hanging out ill tell you, but ill be nice about it. it makes it less awkward when you see that said person at Walmart later... not saying that happened to me. haha

Well i'm just bouncing all over the place, ill sign out on this first blog before I lose my mind!

Love y'all!
yours truly
